The Damanhur New Year begins on September 1st, and the evening before is a night of music and festivities culminating in the Stellar Hawk, a magical ritual of light and intention under the Italian stars. It marks the moment where the "Impossible" ideas we explored over the weekend become the foundation for your next year, and you are invited to join us.

The Temples of Humankind and the Full Moon Rite of the Oracle
Thursday, August 27, the night before the Fest begins, is also a full moon. It is the one night each month when Damanhur holds the Rite of the Oracle, a ceremony where the Pythies, priestesses who have led this work since 1985, open a window of direct contact with the Divine Forces and the answers gathered through the lunar month. Registration is free through the Damanhur Welcome Center.
Here is what makes this particular Thursday rare: as a Fest participant, you also receive a discount code for a Classic or Full Day visit to the Temples of Humankind, available only on Thursday, August 27 or Monday, August 31. Arrive early, and you can walk through the hand-carved Temples in the afternoon and stand under the full moon for the Rite of the Oracle that same night, a combination of experiences you cannot plan anywhere else in the world.

Yes! The Temples are not part of the official program, but you can visit them before or after the event. We recommend adding two extra days to your trip. Fest participants will receive a discount code for the visit. Advance reservation with the Welcome Center is required.
Payment for those purchasing tickets online can be made through PayPal, credit card, or bank transfer.
A daily ticket or 3-day ticket WITHOUT accommodations can be purchased on-site.
The 3-Day Ether ticket includes all activities and a space to pitch your tent and additional camping facilities. If you are unable to travel with camping gear, rentals are available. Contact us at festival@damanhur.org for additional information.
While there are not RV spaces available in our camping area, there are two camping sites a short distance from Damjl:
The Water and Ether tickets include lunches and dinners. The Fire ticket does not include meals. There will also be a dedicated food area at Damjl where you can purchase Damanhurian prepared meals plus snacks and drinks throughout the day.
